I hope things are going good in your part of the world. We are doing good here in Hungary. I wanted to send out a short update and prayer requests. We have been staying plenty busy here. From getting to help around the church in Debrecen, preaching, teaching, dealing with Customs concerning our pallet, studying the language, meeting people, visiting the hospital, switching utilities into our name, and all that goes with settling into a new country.
We got everything turned in to Immigration in May for our residence and work visas. I spoke with them a week or so later was told they will have a decision made by this Wednesday, June 15th. Please pray for God’s will to be done concerning our paperwork. I don’t know of any reason we would be denied, but I don’t want to take the approval for granted. So please pray that, if God is willing, we would receive the approval to continue living and ministering here in Hungary. I’m not sure if they will contact me Wednesday, but they did say if I got approved I would receive everything in the mail the next week.
I have been holding back on sending a prayer letter until after we get an answer from Immigration, but I do ask you to pray for us as we wait. Also please pray that our pallet will be cleared through Customs this week. We have been sending in various documents for 2 weeks now and hopefully have satisfied all the needed requirements. We are eager to finally pick it up and unpack!
So far we have enjoyed our time here and look forward to serving the Lord for long time in Hungary! Thank you for praying for us, supporting us, and being a blessing to us!
